What kind of noises did it make before they failed?

I am pretty dumped, lower than some cobalts on C/o's and I have never had axle bind (that I know of) Where are they hitting the frame? Cant you just take a mini trucker idea and make a mini-notch and call it a day?

That my friend, is a secret... Just know it is retrofitted stock off another car. It also fits on my RX7 and my old CB7 Accord and apparently it can fit on S13 240sx's with no stock lip. Here is another pic.

I was going to say, after I read that I went outside and saw that the closest thing I could hit was my brake lines which were about 2" above.

I just cut from the bottom because the cup on the rear axle won't let the spring move once it has weight on it though the top pretty much just has a nipple and if you cut up top it isn't going to seat around the nipple since there is no cup to rest it on.

Mc Donalds, Shell gas stations, Slim jims, Hulk Hogan, whatever. I get that **** all the time. To make a long story short I got in an accident a few years ago and bought used replacement parts and never had time or money to get it painted because I choose to put my money into my Rat Rod or my RX7.
