Raise the motor or raise the suspension back up. Axle bind isn't something that just goes away.

Powell will let you know when he's got anything. You don't need to keep bumping it.

I'm just letting you know how Powell operates, if you wanna take it personal that's on you but you won't hear from Powell unless he's got something. Trying to pick E-fights won't get you anywhere either.

like Blazin says, raising the motor works, and I have a request in from a patient customer to do this, but it cant happen overnight I have way too much stuff to do with the race season upon us...I will try to do an a/t car here ( I have one) and bring the mounts out to CED....
Who is that patient customer? lol

So are we sure that shorter axles wont help at aqll? becasue even with my car dropped to where I would not be able to physically drive it, it doesnt seem as though the axle would rub the frame.

good for you. lowering the car to extremes without dropped spindles does not work. sucks that folks cant.wont.dont. want to beleive that. and the alternative solutions are a lot of work and money that folks dont want to pay for....all the best

So are auto mounts now off the Powell radar? I'm running TTR polys, not horrible but a poor man solution to a problem that thus far not one single vendor has successfully solved. AFAIK, you are the only one to make the attempt.

so basically we are screwed then since no mounts are being made. Bout to just take a page out of the miata handbook and throw some washers in to raise the motor up if that is the only way to fix it.

mounts are not off my radar, but how many things projects etc can I invest time and money in for no big return? So far about 1 am to 6 am is the only time free.

I have several rear disc conversions here for drum braked cobalts. sold two.

and philosphically I think you want to be that low, you should bag it, but be prepared to fab the drop.

I'm pedders low, soon to be Powell low and I just want a good non voided mount that is stiffer than the oems, of which I've been through 2 already. If it lifts the engine a bit, so be it otherwise ill take what you build and rattle a whole lot less than poly.

I'm not auto and I don't have axle bind but I'm concerned that my axle angle has worn out the bushing in my trans diff. Axle seals leaking one after another. If it is the case I will be getting it fixed on warranty but I don't want it to happen again. I am going to purchase the rotated F23 trans. mounts but I am curious if I could run those in combination with raising the engine mounts.

Also someone mentioned the brake line being close the axle. I noticed my axle has rubbed the brake line a few times when hitting bumps with my car lol. I gently pushed the brake line up a little to prevent it from happening anymore.

I think everyone would just save themselves and Powell the time and money to just do a manual swap if it's as easy as others have said to eliminate axle bind for manual trans. lol
