I'm very interested in these too....partner them up with some KYBs and call it a day, all my stock shocks are bad/blown right now

If he can change the spring weights to what we need, do we have to request that if we buy them?

idk i'll ask that unfortunately right now kyb only makes stock replacement so i'd go with ss/tc shock/struts which is what i'm going to be going with paird with this setup so

according to qwikredline this is should be a very good budget setup that retains good drivability without severely affecting the under / over steer and needing other suspension mods

the price including ss/tc shocks/struts comes out to around 450 $ unless the price goes up for a different spring rate

wouldn't the ss/tc shocks wear a lot faster than the kybs if you put those coils all the way down?

supposedly no .. i mean the kyb's are stock replacements for the the lvl 3 ion that i see they dont have ss replacements that i saw but i'll check and the ss/tc suspension is better then all the other setups lol

you just request the spring rate when you order, and i would call just to make sure they get the correct spring rate.

okay, so from what i find out the ark drop springs is like 150 something lbs/in, so the whole 5-6 kg would be stiff as **** unless you have real coilover. so to retain the comfort in a way and have a stiffer ride i say go with a 300-325lbs

well they said they can do custom rates just make sure to put it in the comments box when they're purchased .. and they might take just a bit longer to arrive since they're not the normal part

so i think i'm just going to give them a shot i havent made a final decision on the spring rates yet though

yea i thought about getting them and taking off the pillow mount.. but i decided against it .. since 540> 800 lol .. yea i does have dampening adjustment but if you dont know with you're doing with that .. then you can screw things up

i picked up ua set of ss/tc shocks/struts and new strut hats to go with the setup

well i have an idea for later.. B&G told me that if you're out of warranty they sell shocks/ struts for 125 a pop.. so i'm going to later buy the shocks.. then eventually buy the struts and hope the pitch of the threads for the coilovers are the same and i can use my current setup lol

so if that works a full coilover system would be like 700 $ however .. i couldn't take the chance at it not working out nowlol
