So, I was wondering, can our stock suspension take a few runs on slicks?

I have a friend with a set of slicks he will let me borrow, do you think it would be a bad idea to run a few times on them, or should I just wait a few months (possible a whole summer) and wait until I get my coil overs?

 

your axels may or may not snap.......i wouldnt do it

should be ok if u get all the traction mods possible... once wheelhop hits.. and it will with slicks.. it will very very hard.. ur axels will be dont so get rid of the wheel hop.. bwoody smm an traction bars.. but have 700 bux on the back burner for the stage 2 axels

the suspension can take it... it's the axles and clutch that can not.

 

im sure ur car can tak d.o.t. drag radials but not full on slicks

 

yeah, I run all the time on drag radials, you really need to do the wheel hop elimination mods and axle upgrades to run the slicks. Because, people are cracking the tranny casing becausue of too much wheel hop.
