Is a SMALL drop possible?

Hi, I have a G5 GT (same as a 2.4 SS/NA) with the FE5 suspension I think?

anyways, I think it's too high but every one I've seen with springs is TOO LOW

is it doable to drop it like 1" or 1,5" TOPS?

Just to make it clean looking without rubbing or having problems in the winter?

Most springs have too much of a drop or produce NO drop on a GT...

unless I overlooked a brand?

I don't want to spend thousands on adjustable coilovers either..

thanks

us G5 GT-er's dont have the FE5 we have the FE3 same as the SS/NA only the SS/SC and SS/TC have the FE5

Sportlines are to low for stock shocks and struts.. any drop is to low for stock struts and shocks IMHO

Yes dropping the car isn't good for the shocks but in the sense of being too low for driving purposes and clearing speed bumps or driveways, the sportlines are not that low.

The SS/SC and SS/NA will have the same drop..the have the same springs and struts...soooo many threads on this. They're the same height at stock and WILL drop the same!!!

Therefore the sportlines drop the car 1"F 1.3"R...Canucks are .9"F .5"R...KSports 1"F 1.3"R

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...hlight=FE3+FE5

read that!!!

Eibach pro-kits drop about an inch as far as I'm aware. Look around there are a couple of company's that make different springs

Progress springs will give you that drop. Heard the ride quality is good too.

on a SS/SC and SS/NA, they drop it .5"R and 0"F...

why would you be taking your car over jumps????

I'm pretty sure a non-lowered cobalt/G5 isn't made for jumps!!
