Heres some budget coilovers brought to you from ebay I might get them to see how good they are since I hate my springs.

I'd kind of like to know what the spring is going to be pushing on in the back since we don't have spring around shock in the rear.

just like any other adjustable rear spring. They dont go over any shock. What is your spring pushing on now?

I have one thing to say about getting those:

NO! DON'T DO IT!

Read this: Suspension FAQ

Its not specific to the cobalt, but a damn good tool to use to help understand what you should get and why.

Make special note of this line:

***Big Notice…springs and coilovers on ebay are cheap for a reason. As you see most quality springs are 150$-220$+, when you see springs on ebay being sold for 60$ there is a reason. I seriously hope logic kicks in for you.***

I went ahead and bought the kit NOT for my cobalt but for a different project I'm building at work. That way I can see what they are. Were building a project car at my work and we need some springs so why not get these I'm not going to go bankrupt over 50.00. I really only want to see the machined parts.

Buying Springs from a company like this....

GeneralIntakes are committed to provide you with total customer service:

Highest quality intake system at the most affordable price in the market.

Most comprehensive technical support in the industry.

Great packaging and fast shipping.

Cheaper shipping cost.

Comes with installation instruction.

Is just stupid, up there with getting herpes for the hell of it

Spring rates usually way way too high and the kit lacks the parts needed for install.

Thats why I picked these up for a project were working on at work it's not for the actual kit it's for the machined parts for some ideas. If ppl noticed these are only the spring not the complete coilover set up which went unnoticed by some ppl

^ No where. No one makes struts for tha cobalt yet.

And way back when I was first geting in to moding I bout a set of springs like that for my cavy. They sucked big time!
But at the time I thought they where good. But you learn and move on to better things. I just wish some one would have told me that they sucked back then so I would not have waisted time and money on them.
