Do not get the 7/16 thread.. I fucked up and got them since an guy named mornoat on here said it would work, got them and the threads was to small to fit in our hubs and just spun and never got tight..

I even had to buy lugs for that thread size so ended up ******* myself good.

So go with an 12x1.5 thread man

Any studs with 12x1.5 will fit
7/16 wont work with the hubs trust me lol
I have 10 of those studs with 20 spline drive lug nuts in my garage. I found some studs at the autopart that were 12x1.5 that was longer then stock. I run 15mm but cant remember the part number for them.

Look up the knurl size, you can get different size studs with the same thread. The Cobalt uses something around .470" I believe, haven't looked recently. You can go with an aftermarket stud that is larger, but you'd have to open up the holes in the hubs slightly.

do you have universal wheels? You should be able to use wheel spacers if you have wheels that are drilled for 8 lug, because where on normal wheels you need to cut your studs to fit, they will poke through the un used lug holes.

hope that makes sense, you should be able to use some 15mm wheel spacers, with the studs already built in if you have the spacing in the wheels.

The 7708's have been used by a few guys on here before. And after some reading it looks like the 2.5 inch studs should be plenty long enough for a 15mm spacer

The adapter style spacers aren't nearly as strong as the ones I bought
