you should cut them just to be safe. cutting them won't affect anything negatively, but if you do need them cut you won't have to take the springs out again. granted it's not a hard install, but still if you don't have to do it why bother. just cut them and call it a day.

I cut mine. You have to figure that Eibach put cutting them in the directions for a reason.

Easy way to cut them: Big ass kitchen knife, something with a coarse blade. Slices right through, and way faster than a hacksaw or something that is designed for metal. Smooth out with a scotchbrite wheel on a die grinder for a really OEM look, if you are crazy like me anyway. You wouldn't have known mine were even cut unless you measured them

No woman, just me and dad, so its no problem

He's an old school mechanic too, he keeps a knife in the toolbox for cutting hoses and whatnot, so it was easy.

My 05 SC has had sportlines on it for over 3 solid years now on stock struts. It took about 3 years but I do notice that they seem to have maybe worn out a bit. I'm lookin to drop my new 09 TC and weighing lowering options. I might go with Sportlines again but I think I want to be a tiny bit lower. So now I'm also considering getting new struts too to compensate. :P What to do. ha

i got sportlines on stock struts, only problem i have is theres a knocking noise coming from the front left side. Sounds like something is loose, i checked it out, couldnt find anything. Car is going into the dealership tomorrow for a annual inspection so ill get that taken care of. Other then that, only thing that sucks on stock struts is the ride quality
