Spring ride in general?

Ok guys im thinking about getting springs for my 06 cobalt ss/sc. Im not sure which ones to get as of yet. How are the ride qualities with any type of springs because I want the best ride possible. I dont want my car to ride like **** after I install springs. Im looking at H&R race springs, ssc springs, progress, and eibach sportlines. Any information and pics are great thanks guys.

I just put the Eibach Sportlines on my car and the ride is amazing...sure it's a bit bumpy but overall on the highway it's smooth and comparable to stock ride (i actually think it's better) and the handling is just phenomenal..

i have sprint springs and they ride really close to stock. everyone that i know who has lowered cars say it really rides like stock. like anything lowered i scrape on lil dips or driveways more often because i have a lip kit, handles better, and harsh potholes your still gonna feel.

Anyone have any strut problems? Axle problems due to the greater angle of the cv joints?

H&R race spring are great, provide incredible handling BUT you should buy koni shocks.Im still running my spring without koni shocks(2 years since the install summer winter car)and now im really tired of th hard ride but still enjoying the twisted roads :P

i've had my eibachs on for about 10,000 miles now and they checked the shocks the other day and said they were fine. They ride smooth until you hit a pothole or big bump like a chunk of ice or something and then it feels like the car is gonna fall apart. I would definitely recommend them.

Yeah it's a loud boom and the car rattles. I think that hitting the bumps for this many miles it's rattling everything loose.

Well, Idk how bad the bumps are. Are they everywhere? I wouldn't put the factory springs back on now that i've got it lowered. It's a totally different look. I love it!

5 minutes isnt bad. Just take it easy and you'll be fine. It'll be worth it for the handling and the looks. I say go for it.

We do give up our angled stance right? If im not mistaken the eibachs drop makes the car even. I was still looking for the angled stock stance.

if you plan on keeping your car for ever I recommend getting Koni shocks. Koni because thats the only one out there. There is a good chance that your shocks will break over time like one of mine did. Plus the ride is not that great on stock shocks. Only nice ride on highway.
