Coilovers are too expensive and I really dont want to change my stock shocks/struts. Overall im looking for a close to stock ride quality, something that wont kill our suspension, and springs that keep the ss/sc the angled stance?

Sportlines are great for daily driving, etc. One of the best springs IMO. Nice stance too.

I have heard many good things/ bad things about sportlines. I heard they give a harsh ride compared to stock.

Looking for the lower stance, I would say yes, they would be great,SSC springs. The pogo effect I speak of is only on large dips in the road," this happens in a few spots on me daily route, over bridges", otherwise they aren't too bad. But, again everyone has different opinions and needs. My car will be "tracked", so I needed something more aggresive. Don't get me wrong, if you hit a large enough bump in the road you will feel it, but not like the Sportlines or H&Rs.

like i said before...i got sportlines...i have to drive about 5-10 minutes in hard traffic and crappy roads before i hit crappy highway...and they perform great...but Pro-Kit seems to be more up your alley...i wanted a more aggressive stance more aggressive handling and a somewhat smooth ride all in one...so i settled with Sportlines....the Progress are pretty much on backorder considering after a week of me ordering them i told the company to cancel and switch to the Eibachs lol...and i love it...better than expected....i plan on going with Koni struts when i have cash though....i'll let everyone know when i get them.......

good luck though....

and my car is a daily driver....yes large bumps happen and you feel them...but they come and go pretty quick...they don't really pogo....

No problem, hell took me better than a month of research, before I choose what suspension I wanted to go with. My first choice, Koni and Ground Control, was thrown out the window, 'cause CG discontinued their coilover-sleeves for the Cobalt.

Mine will be daily driven and won't see track time at all. Don't have the free-time or the will or money to spend in the car to make it track worthy.

I just wanted the lowered stance for looks without sacraficing ( I know i will with springs, but the LEAST sacrafice). I can handle pogo more than I can kidney punches...

I'm stuck between Sportlines and SSSC still...

Well, the SSC springs are more forgiving, the Sportlines will punch back, on the same given bump!

I will try a set of SSSC springs first since they are cheaper. I know your not suppose to "cheap out' on suspension parts, but it's still a quality part so i will give it a chance.

Anyone like the progress springs or are they no good? I know one person on here rangerondubz switched ssc springs because they were wearing his suspension out and he went to sportlines. Theres so many stories that idk what to do lol. Suspension is confusing trying to find the best springs.

I had the Eibach Pro-Kit on my old car and it pogo-ed a lot. But every car is different. I am looking to get some lowering springs for this car now. I seen a lot of good reviews about the SSC springs. But still gonna hold off till I hear more favorites towards one or the other! Anyone else have feedback????

Rocco, the suspension thing really should be confusing... its just that there is no SET answer for the "best" springs.. You just have to factor in everthing that you are looking for and that will help to determing the best choice for YOU. I went with sportlines because i wanted a particular look that i knew they would give me along with performance. For my my ride is good.. but my car has about 55k miles on it so i need to replace the shocks and struts.

I was looking into the progress springs .... heard good things about them but the look wasnt what i was going for.... if you are feeling cautious about the ride height i would go with the progress or pro kit.

Thanks 7thirty im leaning towards the ssc/progress springs because they seem to be the most forgiving. How long will the stock struts and shocks last staying just stock?
