mr. specific strikes again, haha.

but on a serious note, it would be nice to compile a thread with all the spring rates of available lowering/performance springs including the stock ones for comparison by those that know what they're looking at.

also, to say whether or not it is a progressive rate spring would be good. Help correct the "rides nicer" aspect with real numbers?

Yeah it would be nice, but I know of only one guy even remotely interested and capable of spec'ing out springs like that. Send him some springs and he'll check'em when hes got time.

As far as progressive or not, thats pretty easy....if its a straight coil its a damn good chance its linear rate, really only Ground Control coil sleeves and some coilover kits are like this, I know of no spring kits that are.

ah, i see. i know who you have in mind.

i may work on starting to compile that information, even if it's only by what the manufacturer claims.

Drive a SS/TC and see the difference compared to your ride. The "seat of the pants" specs.

24mm front (22mm base), 24mm rear (22mm base)

Increased Damping

New Knuckle design

Short steer arm

Raised roll center height

Increased durability for track abuse (bearing and casting)

By the way Mark Wilkins young Grand Am Rolex Daytona Prototype driving ace, tested the Balt TC yesterday at Mosport race track, first stock and then with modded suspension by OTTP :cabs, and rear bars, AND declared the car great to drive with the changes. Mark wanted the 1.25 bar and another day with sticky tires it was so much fun.

Owner Rob himself a competent noobie racer, found the car much more stable at high speed with the 1.0 bar, preffering that set up for raod racing, and then took home both as he thought quite correctly that the 1.25 will work very well in tight slow corners in AutoX. Get these parts at OTTP..
