Suggested drop from stock height?
Suggested drop from stock height?
well i'm gonna drop my car. its all stock, wheels n all. what would be a good drop? i've been lookin at some K-sports and Eibachs...what u guys think..i need many suggestions, specifically on how low the front and rear should be, thanx
I would say spring rate is a little more of a concern. In CT the roads are pretty bad, so with a stiffer spring rate it's hell on the rims. I notice that even the small bumps now feel like I'm going to dent my rims
But 1.5" looks good and is a good drop imo. I haven't bottomed out yet.
i just put the h&r's on and the front is slammed
barely a 1 finger gap and the back is pretty stock looking
the whole reason i wanted springs was to level the car out
it's a great ride though, not rough at all. it still has a little bit of body roll in the corners though
but for sure an improvement
i just wish the back would go down more
yeah, roads up there are pretty rough, i lived in mass and nh before i joined the military... any1 else think these springs are good? i like the height, just wonderin bout the integrity of them n all
i know a guy that have had those on his cobalt for a couple years and the back over settled
i'm not sure if it's something he did wrong or what but his car looks like it has air ride or something
or he has a ton of stuff in the trunk all the time... not good
but if there's someone that can say otherwise please do
hmmmm, i mean they look pretty durable, who knows though
buddy of mine that has a cobalt sed SSC springs are pretty good? any feedback?

Springs eibachs are the best but i do reccomend that you either get coilovers or get new struts for your spings in the future since the stock struts will not hold and the ride quality will be bad
