Suspension Issue - clunk noise and sinking

I have an 06 SS/SS with 85K miles. The front suspension has been sinking which has caused rubbing and I am also hearing a clunking sound when going over bumps on the passenger side. What is going on? What is the remedy, should I get a new shocks/strut combo kit and replace everything?

its been sinking? liek the car sits wrong or it sinks over dips. if its sitting down on the passenger side id look for a broken spring, if its sinking in dips check your shocks. look for anything that is obviously out of place.

sinking as in on the passenger side it seems to have lowered enough that it started rubbing around the wheel wells. This is what alerted me that there was an issue. I'm thinking I just need to replace the shocks/struts.

More then likey u need new shocks and struts but I would also replace the sway bar bushings if they have never been replaced that will cause a clunking when u go over bumps

Springs hold you up, shocks/struts keep you from bouncing. I'd look at the springs first.

Pics would be useful.

What springs are on the car is my first question. Mine has 100k and the springs are just fine although my front shocks went bad 20k miles ago.

check your front pasenger side spring. as for the clunking it may be the swaybar endlink, however id say the two symptoms stem from the same problem which would be springs. are you one the correct size tires?

if you could get a pick of the thing sitting on the ground and anouther jacked up with the wheel off would be very helpfull
