Suspention Noise
Suspention Noise
Hello,
My Cobalt is makeing alot of noise lately. WHen turning the wheel it makes a low bump sound. Just once when turning left, once when turning right. Also, it does it when I go over bumps for driveways ect. It's fine going down the road. I hope nothing is fucked up. It started going it after I jacked it.
I used the Tire Jack, on the left front jackpoint where it shows the arrow down "V" I jacked it up and put a jackstand under what looked like part of the structure. I did this so I could take off the left front wheel and put in my K&N Intake.
Then it got worse when today....
I Lifted it from the right side, but coudlnt get it high enough to put the jackstand, the point where I had placed it before, is kinda bent on the left side, (or dented) not alot though. SO I let it down, and go to Autozone and get a hydraulic floor jack, and I looked in the forums and found the jack points on that sticky here, those worked GREAT btw: But I think I might have bent something from the other place, However the tire change jack point + the tire jack SHOULD be strong enough to hold it. If not, it's a manufater's defect. So unless its warm out when I open my driver door part of it rubs on the frame too.
