TC replacement rotors unavailable?

Had my rotors turned today for the second time in 2 weeks. I requested new rotors and they agreed, but when they went to order the parts they said that they were unavailable from GM for the TC as of right now (I have this in writing). Anyone know if this is true or not? Obviously GM has to have rotors for the damn thing if they are still putting them on at the factory, why can't they replace them?

Anyway... the service manager gets talking about how basically these rotors are crap and aren't made to withstand the heat that the brembos are putting out, and I should really consider putting some drilled/slotted aftermarket rotors on to help dissipate the heat better. Anyone know whats available for the TC? EBC make rotors for this thing yet?

Thanks for the useless post... Don't assume everyone that has this car drives like a jack ass, my car has been babied since I got it. It hasn't been raced, hell it hasn't even been over 80mph yet. Service managers (at 2 dealerships) confirmed, in writing, that the warped rotors were not caused by improper brake use as the brakes showed no signs of wear. Both guys I spoke with are guessing it occurred while braking off the highway and having a weak rotor. (I have over 7k highway miles on it). So quit being a dick...

I got my oil changed at a Chevy Dealer a couple days ago and they said that they were going to order the rotors for me. I guess there is a recall on the stock rotors (maybe a recent development?). When I was driving I noticed some moderate pulsing under normal braking so it's not just you man.

He's not the only one............. Also my breaks squel like pigs under light breaking, I've heard some say that this is normal with performance brakes but I tend not to believe it. My Sti and Spec b both which have brembo's have never done this........

My brakes squeak real bad, just lookin at getting drilled/slotted rotors eventually, I can deal with it til then.
