TC Struts

So I keep seeing everyone talk about how the TC is a great handling car, well I was curious. If I have an SC how can I make the suspension similar to the TC? I wanna go lower so id get different spring, but other than struts what else would I need and where can I buy them? would if even be worth it?

I'd be really curious as to how the car feels, because I just have 2.4 FE3's with Sportlines and I think mine handles great. lol. But in all honesty, most people don't need / will never correctly use a world class suspension like that..

So basically your saying to just get some springs cause the other stuff isnt worth it? I only want springs that lower it a tad cause I drive in **** ass areas with lots of potholes and my driveway to work and home is slanted so I bottom out enough now haha, my front bumper underneath is effed

All i'm saying is that unless you go to the track or consistently make aggressive maneuvers at over 100 mph, you'll never see the use for it IMO. You're FE5's are a slight improvement over my FE3's, but honestly, I'd just throw on some Sportlines and be done. Mine gave my car a nice drop and improvement in handling for sure.

ya I never do that stuff haha. Is it jsut me or does the turnign raidus in these cars blow? I was always curious about that, like making a circle seems so wide, or just turning around I dunno haha. Sportlines are too much of a drop for me

So true - maybe 5% of drivers get anywhere near 90% of the cars potential. Virtually none get to 95% and those that do, do so on a racetrack.

As far as the turning circle - it's not great but no worse than any other front drive I have driven. Wider wheels / tires and a transverse powertrain layout are not the best for pulling u-turns on narrow streets

The turning radius is garbage. For most people a stiffer spring and a bit of a drop is perfect better looks and enough performance improvement for most and oh yah its really cheap.

Pedders and SS/TC struts and shocks so far seems to be the best set up. I wait for for qwik to put it on say yay or nay then I put it on the list haha

you can get various different springs with varying drops...someone made a list of each brand and the drop..I cant remember where it is though.

or are you referring to the pedders on the tc struts? I believe the pedders arent very much of a drop
