Suspension Help

I have a base G5, on sportlines on stock FE1 suspension, and im thinking about getting the FE5 Struts and Shock Pkg FE5-S from ced...

1. how did you like the change?
2. is it worth it? why?

New question 2/26
Im tired of the bumps(sportlines)

which would be better to buy 1st
the ss/tc shocks and struts or pedder springs???

Thanks

cornering, steering response, flatness. ride comfort was probably lost a tad but i couldent tell.

also weight transfer in quick change corners was reduced so your not throwing your self all over the place having snap over steer and other bad things

are you talking TC struts/shocks? its a fantastic upgrade. Maven has them w/ pedders on his cobalt ls. they are better than aftermarket shocks and struts too.

sport lines drop the car lower and honestly are more for looks over function. pedders is more of a performance for the track spring. they dont drop the car as much but they will out handle any other spring.

booo I think maven left the site cuz of all the BS. he was a fantastic suspension/car source. I wish i could vampire his knowledge out of him.

Anyone else that just upgraded to (stock tc) pedders says they are fantastic, terminator2 just did. I mean the census is, tc shocks/struts w/ pedders is the best handing for the best price you will find on a cobalt. I'd love pedders coilovers but..well thats a lot more

I like my Pedders springs a lot. I like the OTTP street bar even more though because it makes the car so tight feeling even on the stock springs. I need new tires badly though. 18K miles and two years on my stock Contis and the car getting hard and worn.

no, the sportlines are a more harsh ride. Built for looks of a drop than handling. The pedders do not drop the car as low but offer a much superior ride comfort and handling.
