Tokico Strut kits on the website

Hey all I just went to the Tokico website to check to see if they had a listing for the Cobalt yet..... well to my surprise they did have us listed as in development for the following products.

Non-Adjustable:
HP Series Blue Strut

Adjustable:
D-Spec Adjustable

So folks it looks promising, at least parts are in the pipeline.

Too bad they are only developing the Blue Struts and the adjustable coilover type. The only thing I hear about coilovers i they are very rough to drive.

mmm d-specs... got them on my Sunfire nice stuff!

D-Spec Wide Extra Range Adjustable Shocks

TOKICO’s D-Spec Series adjustable shock is a multi-use product that’s the result of sophisticated piston and valving design. In addition, it utilizes a unique variable-aperture bypass, which is controlled by an adjustable slide valve.

D-Spec (damping specific) adjustments change both rebound and compression damping simultaneously. Between maximum soft and hard settings, the D-Spec is infinitely adjustable. For more information and to view the damping graph full size, click here.

D-Spec shocks and struts are sold in sets of four. Each set includes a manual explaining the adjustment process as well as covering suspension tuning tips.

D-Spec suspension kits include four D-Spec shocks/struts and four sport lowering springs. The kits are in the process of being developed and will use the prefix DSK in the part number. Please see the “What’s New” page for applications in stock. Call 1-800-548-2549 for prices and information.

Most coilovers are hella expensive, Last time I checked..... these seem to be more fitting to be able to go from mild mannered street car to fully adjustable race car suspension, and like one of the posters up top said The D Spec is comparable to the Koni Sport Adjustable Struts. I am just glad we are getting two kick ass companys that are making parts for my ride.

I've wanted to lower my ride but I am super leery of dropped springs without a nice set of dampers I will wait until Koni and Tokico drop their struts.

KDW and JPB I believe both make coilovers for the Delta Platform.
