Yes, v1 rides highest. Just a touch lower than stock SS.

v.3 is just a tighter pigtail at the rear for the folks who could not handle a real ez fit for the isolator. Does not affect performance. Like Wangspeed says, v.1 trim the best for track use. Or drag strip use

That is correct. And v2's and v3's are basically the same thing. The only difference is the hole for the isolators is tighter.

V1's FTW! they ride so damn nice, perform fantastic, and are just enough of a low touch to notice!

New pedders about the same height, old pedders sag in the back end. I've had the v1's for around a year, no change in ride height

seems to me we got v.2/3 down a little lower at the front than new pedders and about the same or a little less at the rear than new pedders.
old pedders? lol can you say "Tien"?

YYZ will never sag or lose rate. Bad news if you have v.1 and want them to settle. which if you drag race you really really dont want that to happen lol

all i know is when I pulled the pedders off my LNF to put your v1's on, they were soft. I dont want my v1's to settle

When exactly did pedders revise their springs? Mine were purchased around end of 2011 / beginning 2012... Now I'm thinking of switching over to YYZ but I don't want to lose the height the car stands at now. I wouldn't mind going a tad lower either but definitely don't want to go up.

What's the spring compression ratio difference from pedders to YYZ and what's this v.4 you speak of?

it would really help if you would read the whole post i made on the springs, with rates etc. Pedders are linear have LESS RATE THAN STOCK and collapse. as they collapse they lose rate. eventually they collapse into the coils. and rust a lot. the spring wire is poor quality sad to say, Pedders is a proud Australian company and I think they sub'd production to Indonesia.

anyway the YYZ stuff is well documented made in the USA by Hypercoil from high strength SILICONE SPRING WIRE . Every car in the Indy 500 since for ever have run on Hypercoils. That tells you something about the quality.

They are NOT the lowest. THey are pretty much the highest rate and they are the ONLY progressive aftermarket spring front and rear.

They are NOT soft. Its a performance spring.

the v.3 may have been lazer etched v.4 by mistake. no biggie. the part number references are for me to identify the batches if warranty issues come up. They are guaranteed not to lose rate or break as long as you own the car.

Would you mind linking me to that post? Would be interested to educate myself. How much more stress will YYZ springs put on stock struts and shocks due to higher compression rate?
