Z06 brakes?

Hey I just wanted to make sure that the Z06 brakes would fit on our cars before I go investing in getting a set. Does anyone know and has anyone done it before?

I think a few people have tried with no good luck.

There are better options out there.

They will fit most 18's I believe not 17's tho. There's a kit on Cobalt-Addiction. If you have a question about if it will fit your wheels they would be the ones to ask.

they dont fit. You need custom brackets and custom drilled rotors. Plus they are massively heavy and take stupid expensive pads.

Exactly, no reason to use them on a Cobalt. Get TC brembos and call it a day.

the brembos are more than enough the koni challenge cars use them and they race for 3 hard hours on them each race.

I'm confused by this? The Koni Challenge Cobalts don't use the brembo's on the new TC they use the calipers off of the non ss Camaro's. They aren't allowed to run the new Brembo's.

Good stock sized: non Chinese rotors Hawk pads.
Better stock sized: DBA rotors
Larger than stock: Time Attack Harcore brake upgrade.(OTTPerformance sells it)

Hot dog we have a wiener!

Rear brakes are factory discs with aftermarket pads though.

The SS Turbo Brembos are too effective so they are not allowed, even though they are factory equipment. That is a suckfest and a half right there.
