Apex'i AFC

Have any of you tried any of the Apex'i Air/Fuel controller products on these cars yet? I'm pretty sure they're a universal piece and they probably should work pretty good! I drive a 98 Eclipse GSX and a good friend of mine has a 2.4l SS and I was suggesting that he tried one. So I was just seeing if anyone has really had any experience with one on their car yet. Thanks fellas!

A AFC is only a piggy back. Doesn't have close to the tunning capibilities as HPT. Basically a waste of money.

is true. however if you don't have any tuning available, then it's not a bad piece. doesn't work as well as something like an eManage due to closed/open loop of the ECM, but yeah.

a ton can be learned about piggyback tuning here (click)
