Mini AFC 2.2

hey everone i was going threw the vendors to check out some toys for my cobalt i just picked up a week ago and came around the Mini AFC 2.2 controller...now the question is...is it worth it or no? and does anyone have it in there car or is looking to get it installed soon?

depends on how much it costs, really.... if it's anywhere near the price of the SAFC, you'd be MUCH better off w/ the SAFC(2)

yea but rumor out about the SAFC2 is that it trips out alot of the computer signals is that true or thats just all talk people are doing??

um... i know that an SAFC2's been put on a 2.2L Ion w/ no issues, also a cobalt w/ no issues. *shrug*

i just got one for my ion and will be putting it on as soon as i get some time.

That thing is JUNK!!! Ive messed with that thing so much and my car completely hates it, Especially with a 2.8 Pulley and 42# injectors!!! Glad i got it for free because the person who had it before me hated it too

I agree if you have to adjust any more than 2% it will trip high MAF circuit codes and revs near redline. The ECU compare MAF to MAP and trips CEL if too much discrepancy. The 2% is my senario other cars might be more or less as not two are the same.
