Back from Tune Time Performance in NJ...
Paul in all honesty here man, the lage portion of your issues are caused by that back-assward maf pipe, your getting all sorts on multi-directional air flow across the MAF at varying frequencies.
the car has no idea what to do...straighten that **** up and you'll be just fine and dandy.
the crazy idc even trigger has to be the massive bump in PE associated with a "normal" maf tune....
you can thank work for that bit of info and that baller PE chart.

But yeah work will be commencing soon, I was going to do the piping this weekend since I had 3 days off, but alas, I was ******* sick, this weekend I'm drivng to VA to check out a vette for a friend, and then I need to do 3 pulley swaps and retunes on sunday... somewhere in there I'll maybe get a chance to try and at least fix my exhaust leak lol.
and I don't have any big jumps in my Pe pretty smooth transition imo. I dunno my car is just pissed
O come on it was over a 4 hour drive for me.
Thanks for talkin me into it, I owe u. Probably the only reason why it didnt blow is that I never drove it... lol. O man I cant wait to get new injectors and get the rest of my items installed and go back down.
Its amazing how many people wont believe.... but I know what it is, they are just jelous...
later
Yeah, I came up short...
258/230 on Matt's dyno, 293/261 on a cold day at any dynojet. I was hoping for 265 on Matt's dyno. I'll get there, don't worry about that.
I was just as shocked as you guys about Nick's numbers. Matt swore he could hit 230 w/ a mostly stock car on his dyno. Nick is completely out of injector at this point, but he left w/ a hell of a lot safer tune than he came w/. Freakin' ZZP... They were commanding somewhere above 13AFR w/ 30 degrees of timing. It's a miracle that Nick's car never blew up.

hey I will call when I know when I will be up there friday after work . need me to bring tools or you have them all.
are there any "special" tools needs to install a cobra h/e & dual pass w/ option b? i have the brackets for the h/e. i have a very extensive set of tools at both my garage and my uncle's shop.
make less power? odd, i seem to make more power everytime i hit the dyno.
we also need to discuss some more things about said meet
lets discuss, PM?
