big tuning problem

check and make sure the tuner shut off boost control in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear, ive seen this problem b4 on a dyno.

id have to ask him cause i dont have the car right now. my car since the time i got it has boosted directly to 10psi then climbed slowly to 12 now that it revs to 7k it jumps to 10 psi then climbs slowly to 15.

ill let him know he is a pansy but i did specify to him that i need to be safe not stupid safe but the car is a daily driver. my race car is a diff story

well thats why your not making the power right there. Also don't look at peak numbers, look at the numbers under the curve to see where you gained our power

well we took off my brand new zz downpipe and the cat is messed up pretty bad. so we cut it out. put in a test pipe and the check engine light finally came on and the car got better gas milage and seemed to run much better. we will dyno it tomorrow night to see what if anything happened

theres where ur new found boost came from lol...now lean it out and add some timing

so here is an odd question when i hit the gas should the car immediately hit full boost or should the car wind out a bit at the top end

^^^ what he said..u can putt around barely going into boost but if u lay into it..u should jump into full boost

my car has never done that. its always hit a number like 10 or 7psi then wound out as i got further into the rpm range

that is torque management doing that one. not the blower itself.
