Downpipe Tuning Question

So I bought my car with a catted turboxs downpipe but it was throwing codes, p013a and p013e, so i took it off and put the stock dp on to pass emissions inspections. My tune related question here is should the car drive better with the stock dp? Even though it is tuned for the turbxs dp the car feels more responsive and handles lower rpms better with the stock dp. Just wondering if its a tune probelm or what I should do. I want to put the turboxs dp on because it sounds beautiful but I feel dumb putting it on if my car runs better without it.

Thanks for any help,
Adam

How is it tuned for a downpipe, but throwing codes? That does not compute.

What tune is it? HPT or Trifecta?

Sounds like your car isn't tuned properly for a downpipe.

He said turboxs downpipe so I'd assume tc.

Yeah 2010 ss/tc. Trifecta tuned but no codes were turned off in the tune. Im thinking its not tuned right. And I wish it had HPT but I bought it with trifecta and sure cant afford to switch. But I do have the red cable to data log, should I put the turboxs dp on and try to get retuned?

I don't recall there being any difference in drivability or lower end power when I put the stock dp on my lnf for emissions from zzp's high flow dp

Yeah I figure that it shouldnt happen. Thats what makes me think its not tuned right for the turboxs dp. Do our rear o2s do anything important? I was wondering if the huge J shaped o2 defouler thing on the turboxs one has anything to do with it.

The rear 02 sensor is pointless.
