Only thing I would say is UPGRADE YOUR INJECTORS! If not you have a a really good chance for leans spots and chokeing the engine loosing power and causing your car major damage and possibly blowing it up. Just something to think about it also depends how much your really rip on your car also.

Horrible tune, sorry to say. Your air to fuel ratio is way to rich, your idc's are through the roof, your injectors are more then maxed, blah why am I even wasting my time.

Hey man give the guy a break he doesnt know not his fault just try and help him. But you are coreet to the OP your A/F are way to high you should be in between 11.5 and 12.0 11.5 would be ideal and like I said you can run those injectors but I would press the gas pedal to the floor just my 2 cents.

Talking

Well the guy said it was a safe tune. Being that I'm rich means if I lean out some that I won't go TOO lean. We might be able to get it a little leaner though. But if its running rich, the injectors are obviously NOT maxed out.

Here is the Dyno Prints

Before the Tune.

And later after the tune

You can see how Lean and unstable my power curve was.
I know it's not perfect, and I'm probably not going to win
any races, but my car is alot more Fuel effecient now, and
no longer throws code P0172 System Too Rich. So I got out
of the tune what I wanted. Might be able to get it a little leaner thuogh.
We'll see.

well looks like your happy with the results.
but these guys on here know whats going on, those injectors with that much fuel and that pulley is cutting it close, but you are only running to 6500...

let your tuner know you can run it alot closer to 12.0 than he is going and why is the a/f up and down though the run?

whats your timming at? and any other mods we are missing?

So if I get it leaned out some more, then im cutting it even LESS close with my 42# injectors.
It should also give me better gas milage Ill look into how much it will cost to get me tuned again. I had to mail out my PCM to get the tune, so getting it returned means going without a car again for a few days.

The Dyno guy said I should put a NOS setup to spray onto the intercooler to help cool the intake more, to get more horsepower.

Meth and HE mods

with the meth you can pull even more fuel out of your tune because the methanol will richen it up when you spray.

Also try to find a local dyno/tuner. canned tunes suck

BTW not too bad for just 3 mods on the car

Thanks,
I'm not real interested in NOS or anything. I Originally baught the car just to have something a lil sporty to drive arroudn in, since ive only ever driven older beater type cars. I wanted something nice this time arround. The mods were done to the car before I even baught it, and so it was throwing an engine light for being too rich. Just got it tuned and Dynod. I might race it just to see what it can do, but Im still kinda new to manual transmition so Im not expecting any great times since id probably foul up the launch. haha

With my 2.85 / 42# set-up my IDCs were at 95% with an 11.6ish afr..

Which is higher than desirable.. but not scary imo
