can you use HP Tuners to recalibrate the speedometer after larger rims are installed?

yes its just a matter of plopping in the new diameter of the tires in most cases
as for the std/pro version differences they are all listed right here

I always recommend the pro, it is a little more expensive, but the black box logging feature really is worth its weight in gold...it can even allow you to skimp on the laptop since you won't need it much at all for logging purposes
And it also makes integrating a wideband oxygen sensor SO much easier.
Not to mention the upgrade price is $289 if you decide you shouldve gone with the pro at a later time whereas now its only $150 more.

bumping a dead thread to figure out if i will be able to plug in my ngk wideband into the professional version of hp tuners , also i would like to know if hp tuners is the lazy mans tuning program , the only difference that im seeing is that you dont have to carry your laptop around all the time ???? and the fact that you can show af ratio through your program instead of having to look at the wideband itself ???? Can someone clear this up for me , i need to order hp tuners
meant to say the professional version is for the lazy man ,

Yes the Ngk setup is a predefined wideband meaning we've already got the voltage range so its basically plug & play with our unit.
Also with the pro theres no need for a laptop to DATALOG...you'll still need one to read & write files to the pcm.
Neither standard or professional is for the "lazy man" IMO, but yes the pro version definitly makes things easier & more convienient.
