i changed it to 3400. car is happier now. no more retarded temp issues, and pulley changes do not effect final afr either. adjust maf settings accordingly.
hey i bought hpt 10 days ago and they have yet to ship it did it take this long to process it when yall ordered it? i called hpt monday and they said it should ship out monday or tuesday and here it is wed and i still havent seen a shippin email

Hmm. see that's kinda what I was asking. What do those tables actually do? I am being told it cuts VE from the picture and uses just the MAF for airmass calcs above the rpm you state in the table. Below that rpm, it will use a mixture of VE and MAF. If this is correct, it means that these computers do indeed use a combonation of VE and MAF; ergo, VE plays a part in the way our car runs. Either that, or someone is leaving out info here.

mine is pure maf above 3400. i don't dick with my car enough to worry about it anyways.
maf has always been the primary source of fueling. it references ve basically to check itself. at least on the 07's this is the case. which is why ve made no difference. however massive jumps in airflow did make a difference.
