I need help with a tune
Guys,
I currently have to pass a smog test with my car it is a 2007 supercharged. I recently failed because of high NOx readings. I was told that I needed to be tuned to help me out. I currently have AEM CAI, GM stage 2 , Option B, Header, Exhaust, I have a cat installed. I was told by a tuner that my engine was misfiring due to running to rich for only a small time. THe problem I believe to be is that when I bought my car, My ecu had a different Vin Number in it which I believe the previous owner just put a stock ECU back into my car with all of the upgrades. Is there any way that I could adjust my car without being tuned or could you guys point me in a direction of where to go and get tuned or dyno tuned? I live near Akron, Ohio. I just want to pass echeck and be able to drive my car someday soon. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Tom
