LC-1 Question

since the thread hasnt been updated on how to connect the wideband...i was wondering if anyone has connected a lc-1 to hpt pro? i know the lc1 has a usb cable but how do it work with hpt? ive only worked with aem

There should be a single 0-5V wire coming off the module. Plug it into the input terminal.

Either the yellow or brown... they are the same signal.

Edit: White is the system ground.

see im getting mixed feed back on this because the help on hpt says to take the outputs and put them to the 1 and 5 spots on the mpvi

******* headache...why cant everyone buy a plx or aem

Sorry... here is the exact wiring...

Hook the brown wire up to pin 1 on the EIO.
Hook up the black wire to pin 5 in the EIO.

life saver...so i run a wire from the connector to the 5 spot then the brown wire off of the gauge to the 1 spot...perfect

sweet this helps me out alot will hpt make corrections by itself to maintain a certin afr if you have it hooked up?

Hmmm. I've never seen that before. I.ve never had anything plugged into #5 of the pro interface. Just 1 wire to the #1. Works perfectly.

this way does display wideband not narrow correct?

yes these are the wires that come off ur wideband to the mvpi
