I got screwed by my dealership. They threw away the paperwork for my stage2 kit with the ID code on it. They said they never had to call to get any number for a Stage2 flash.
Had them call while I was there and ding ding ding Im right... they are wrong. Without that code I cant get the Stage2 Tune.
Hoping anyone is in my area or close enough for me to drive to.
Im in North Jersey Paterson to be exact. Is there anyone around me anywhere with HPTUNERS that could help me out...

I am assuming that you bought the kit through the dealership and they installed it?? If that is the case then they are responsible and you should hold them to it...you have a receipt or purchase order for the work?

 

dude they can call someone and get that number thats bullshit I had to do this when I installed my GM charger on my second cavi and I lost the reflash number

I actually used my mechanic's tech number and acted as If I was him I had to call a hotline and give them my VIN in order to receive a certain number that they needed in order to access your PCM (cant remember what its called) then I asked for the reflash so they can ask for the ID number to reflash the computer with the stage 2 tune

 

no I didnt buy the kit thru the dealer. not for $750. Got it from one of the vendors here on the site. They called the Tech line with me there on speaker and they said they cant give the VCI# number without the code from the Kit. Even with giving them the VIN of the car. so Im screwed. I dont know the first thing about tuning a car or I'd buy HP tuners myself n do it..
