need tune help now!!!

I'm in a big dilema here so anyone who can please help that would be amazing. I just did my install last night for my Intense kit. I am running a 2.7" pulley, 60lb injectors, and the air box mod and that's it. After getting the CPS (crank positioning sensor) relearned this morning I attempted to get on the car coming back from the dealership. The car is so rich it just dogs out and throws **** loads of black smoke out the exhaust. Intense was supposed to have tuned the car for my supporting mods but this definately isn't right.

I need your guys help asap seeing this is my daily driver and I can't really afford any downtime. I have HPTuners and have tuned my Cavalier with it but I haven't done much with MAF tuning. Can someone help me out with a 2.7" 60lb tune that will work for my car? I do have one tune I got awhile back for this setup if someone wants to take a look and maybe edit it for me.... pleaseeeee

Hell I'm even willing to pay a fair price if need be, i'm desperate here

Im upstate NY, about 4-5 hours from NYC Like I said I do have HPTuners but haven't done enough tuning with MAF or this car to feel comfortable tuning it all by myself. I also don't have my wideband hooked up to the Cobalt

Sounds to me like your dealer did a reflash and not a relearn and lost intenses flash. Scan the vehicle and look at the tune. Look at the injector flow rate to verify it has been done correctly for the 60s for starters.

Shortbus might have something decent for you to take a look at as well. I'd PM him and TAG as well. TAG's tunes are great from what I've seen.

SO... any feedback man... let me know if you had any issues, or at least send me a log file from some test runs.

Hey man, I didn't get a chance to really test things out much yesterday, I did run a couple logs and had no knock retard though I hope to get some logs in tonight and i'll send you the files to take a look at. The car idles and runs like stock right now though

The only issue I need to get figured out now is this damn screeching belt. It honestly doesn't sound like it's coming from the s/c unit at all, kinda sounds like its lower. The belt definately could be a bit tighter in my opinion but I don't seem to be losing much if any boost, it's pushing around 18-19psi.

HMM,.,, def double check to make sure the belt is aligned properly.. might be off a rib on the a/c conp pulley, or the crank pulley. def get under the car and take a look to make sure since it is difficult to see from up top.
Glad to hear it's running good..
if you do get a chance e-mail me a log and I'll see if anything needs to be changed.

Thanks a ton man, you saved me I'll jack the car up when i'm home from work tonight and make sure everything is lined up properly then I'll definately get a few logs tonight or tomorrow and send them your way. Unfortunately they won't have AFR on them as I don't have my wideband hooked up to the Cobalt

good enough, if you need I have a good config file you can use so I can read your logs right has pretty much everything you need to monitor so I can tell what the car is doing.

Actually that would be great, the config file I was using was the one for my cavalier so i'm sure they are other parameters I need. If you wanna send that to me it would be great, thanks man

The wideband i have on my Cavalier is the Innovate LM1 handheld. I actually bought it because of the portability. I haven't had a chance to weld in a bung in the Cobalt exhaust yet though so I was planning on doing that in the spring.
