need tuning help

So I got this cobalt SS a few months ago from a young boy that didn't know much about it. He got the balt from a dealer and only owned it a 3 months. Right off I could tell the balt had smaller SC pully 77.9 with blue bolts and the injectors are silver. I figured this was GM stage 2. After further looking into the car I found injen cold air and zzp short header and cated 2.5 down pipe also magnaflow 2.5 cat back. When I got the balt the boy said it did have a stock tune still and would need a tune. Since he didn't know any thing bout the balt how would he know this unless was just guessing. So my question is how do I find out if its tuned or not and what kind of tune its running if it has one. I have reason to believe it is tuned because my down stream 02 sensor broke and it will not throw a code for it and I know they delete them in a tune. Also I thought the stock cobalt SS Rev limiter was 6.5 when I can Rev 7.1. Can any one inform me thanks in advance Raymond

Definately has a tune if you can rev to 7K, the GM injectors have black plastic tops, not silver, so you might have something else in there.

I have this exact same setup in my car if I drop to a 2.9 pully will i have to change the injectors to say #50 and get a new tune? Or can i run with the #42 injectors and stick with the GM stage 2 tune...I am looking at meeting up with a couple guys in this area that can run your tune CCSS3..just curious as of right now!

I don't recommend 50s and never will... I recommend getting 60s so you have more availability.. But if you go to a 2.9, you'll need a tune for 42s anyway. So if you plan on upping the injector get 60s
