I got the code after driving around the first 3 times (intake installed when it was on stands). I cleared it and it came back. Not real wot runs, just normal driving, although it did go away but was still in the pcm.
He said P0171(System Too Lean (Bank 1)) not P0103 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit High Input
A code P0171 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Note: The use of "oiled" air filters (K&N, etc.) can cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled
* There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor.
Keep you informed on what happens.

K. I had code 101 or 103 before when i forgot to plug in the MAF sensor and started it up. Now, i have the P0171 code, although it has gone away with putting the maf fail up to 12500. BUT, ill take it out and check it this weekend. Also, ill reflash my pcm to stock Maf fail to see what happens.
Keep you informed on what happens.

basically ur map/maf is off somewhere and it is causing the car to fuel trim over +20% at some point which is what activates the code..A good scan tool can pull the exact point that is happened at and what the other parameters were at when it was activated via obd2 snapshot, From there u can adust your maf/map and get it back in line. I recommend sd tuning with a Wideband to get rid of the problem
