Specialty tuning?
Hey everyone,
Just curious if anyone has gotten a tune by Specialty Tuning before? Good or bad?
He has a pretty good deal going on right now but i havent heard of him before. He uses hptuners and he says he has been doing it for 7 years and he specializes in Cobalts.
Anyone have first hand experience?

Says he has been in business for 7 years so i was hoping to get some ones opinion on it. Im currently on a zzp can tune and that makes me nervous. so i might just take the chance. he seems pretty reputable.

Getting a tune from someone nobody seems to know would make me more nervous than running a canned ZZP tune. I've done the latter for 18 months, but when it comes to custom tuning I only trust my car to Terminator2. Not saying this guy you're looking at is no good, just that I would want to hear lots of good reviews before even considering him. I don't care how great of a deal he's got going on. Just my $0.02...

he got his start and lost a lot of motors by copying and pasting maps, charging people for 30 mins of crap, and then charging gas on top of that. There were countless times i ran across people with issues and they sent me my own map back from the guy, along with other people as well.
