Tune after CAI, DP, and Catback

So as of next week all my parts will be here for my car. I have an Injen Cold air intake with K&N filter, 3" catless zzp downpipe, and a 2.25" srs type R catback exhaust. My question is simply. Do I have to get a tune? And getting a tune would require me to get a wideband? Would I be ok to not get a tune? And if so would I just not get the full potential hp gains? Lots of questions I know just looking for answers I assumed I wouldn't need a tune since it's just an intake and exhaust. Of course a tune would be best tho I know this. Just didn't budget for one

I figured the car would relearn the new incoming air from the intake and change fuel accordingly. The downpipe would just cause an engine light because if second 02 sensor. And catback wouldn't affect anything but better flow. Correct or nah?

Why would you mod and not have any motivation to get it tuned? What was the point of even modding then?

you'll experience pretty much no gains by adding mods and no tune....

Well that's why I'm asking if I should. I'm pretty new to it all. And hp tuners will cost me 150$ with a wideband be like 300$. Like I will eventually get it. But I figured the computer doesn't know much about what the exhaust is doing after the 02 sensor. I thought the car would learn the new incoming air from the Intake fairly quickly. So I thought it would all balance itself out. So basically the plain and simple answer is yes I should get a tune? But I wanted to know how necessary it was to get one right away. It should run normal with everything ya? Obviously loud as hell. I have my buddy checking is he has a liscence for me or if ill need to pay him. My buddy found his wideband so I should be fine. Thanks for the help guys

First, you dont need a wb if it is a lnf like i am assuming. Your o2 is a wideband o2 sensor. Second, your pcm will adjust so you see no hp gains without a tune.

Modding a lnf with mo intention to tune is kind of like getting a couple of hookers and just sitting there and talking with them. You just spent all that money on it when in the end you won't get the satisfaction of the full of the mods or hookers.

You can run without a tune but for how long? I have no idea. I'd get a tune asap or atleast talk to a tuner about getting it tuned. Theres lots of tuners out there

Hahaha that's a good analogy. And it's an LsJ not an LNF. I know the LNF's relearn to stay at their original hp settings. But the lsj's don't to my knowledge. My friend has a wideband and he is going to tune me for free with it. We will install it then and then uninstall the wideband. Because it's his. That's what I figured the car would be fine because it's lsj and doesn't learn like that which is nice. But I know a tune is always necessary. I don't wanna talk to the hookers. Get in and get out haha. But seriously like I said I'm pretty new to it all and assumed simple mods like intake and exhaust would be normal to not tune an lsj

I'm hoping for 15whp with the mods and a tune. Sound about right?

Sorry I never really specified. My bad. Simply put nah? What would people expect gains to be? I seen a guy dyno a 15whp gain on just an Intake and catback.

No stage kits yet. Hopefully In the spring next year
