To tune or get tuned...
So I got all my issues figured out except a pesky p1101 code. I think I am ready to get tuned. So the questions is do I buy HPTuners and do it myself (vehicle is already "tuned" by enginewiring.com but still after 4 new sensors still a sluggish pile. Or do I e-mail trifecta and just let them handle it and 1yr down the road when I get a pulley and injectors pay them again?

Buy Hptuners. You can do the same thing you would with trifecta email tune but have the benifit of being able to change anything yourself if needed. You can email any of us on the hpt forum to help you get started or to just have a tune made for you.

I have never tuned myself. I find myself a good learner but I've been building this truck for 2 years and I'm just about sick of it and kinda just want it to be done already. Granted I don't want to spend $500.00 on something that I can't "keep" forever and eventuntually learn and play with myself. One huge benifit of paying someone would be the obvious: EXPERTISE and that cannot be valued. I'm torn & I just hope I am mechanically ready to start tuning.
