Tuning for 3.5" Throttle Body

I just got HP Tuners, and installed the larger 3.5" Throttle body , I changed the ETC Scalar area in HP Tuners to 4500, I also richened up the PE curve by 0.10 across the board.

I want to tune it so that I still get the throttle response, but its so touchy in first gear I want to be able to take the jumpyness out, I was told that adding timing down low would help with that?

Any suggestions so that I can smooth this out a bit???

Bump..anyone???

First... get very familiar with idle tuning, and low speed tuning
Second.... next tune your car how you want it without the TB.

When your ready, put it on and start playing.
Low end timing tables, idle timing table (think about the transition from your idle table to the main spark table).
You may have to add timing in some places, and take it away in others.

You will have to play with your VE table a bit once the new TB is in, as well.
It's a long process, and can be pretty frustrating at times.

I've found that if you can push the car to the point of low end 'hesitation', then back it off, it seems to be pretty livable.
