I am also very interested I want to buy the alpine turbo kit with the garrett turbocharger for my 2.4L but don't know anything about tuning so it has been holding me back.

this is a novel idea and all. what you have to realize is, the difference in altitude, temps, and just basically a different enviroment you will get sucked into some people saying your tunes suck. this is what happens with mail order tunes.
with that being said, there is a blanket way of doing a tune for the stage 2 42.5 cars. easy quick and painless. 60's on the other hand take a fine touch to get right.
with that being said, you will have a 50/50 review in the end, hate to say it, but it's true. this happens with most mail order stuff.

I would be interested if the tuner would tell me what he changed and why. I have HPTuners and am having a hell of a time figuring out what everyting means/does. I have never tuned before and would be willing to pay just for the lesson!

Yea, I got that. I was hoping that someone would read this and take pitty on me enough to offer some pointers. (I guess I feel it is okay to jack a 8 month old thread)
