I don't know about that, but you can configure some widebands, like the LC-1, to also output a narrowband signal to your PCM so you can use the same sensor for both. Check the HP Tuners forums to see if anyone has a method for bypassing the first O2. The car uses it for fuel trim, so it has to be there. The second one is pretty easy to remove, its not critical. The first one not so much.

A word of advice, the first O2 sensor is used for the computer to read the afr, its a rough one, but it's needed for the correct operation. I believe the NGK also has a narrowband output like the LC-1 has. Hopefully, otherwise you'll have to get another bung welded in pre-cat for the wideband.

The NGK only has a 5v analog output for my HP Tuners. I will probably just get a catless downpipe, and use the second bung. Thanks!

Yeh, the NGK is only 0-5V.

Why not just get another bung welded in before the cat (where it should be). If you don't want to run it all the time, most come with a plug. Most shops should do it pretty cheap.

Hey, DOC!! You're on the wrong coast! Gotta get back to the "right" coast soon, man!
