WOT Box Discussion. Is it really worth the price why not just flat shift?

WOT Box Discussion. Is it really worth the price why not just flat shift?

why not just flat shift and launch where yo want to set the box to? whats the real gain here?

well for drag purposes the WOT Box allows you to maintain a certain launch rpm at your choice...helping your drag times...and the NLS allows your car to maintain boost when you shift...

You can build boost with the launch control part as well, so you can come off the line harder, if you have the tires to take advantage of it.

the 2 step from launch.. and meth always helps during no lift shifts

It's also a lot easier on your clutch/trans when your engine can sit on a soft-touch rev limiter while you shift, rather than slamming into the factory fuel cut until the clutch pulls it back down.

Only those ill-expierenced let the engine slam the limiter when flat foot shifting.

also he has a s/c so keeping boost isn't a problem. That's one of their main selling points but even they say you won't have nearly as drastic of an improvement unless you are turboed

Moral of the story...I heart my Wot box! Op if you can find a good deal on one I would get it.

PS. there is one for sale in the classifieds right now IIRC
