Got bored, so i am actually going to post a kill. Its wierd, last night or this morning if you wanna get technical at 1 in the morning im dropping my friend off and on my way back me and my other friend in the car with me see this red GTP. I figure why not so we actually get a light next to eachother and all i know is the car was lowered, had an exhaust, and i saw an aftermarket triple a-pillar gauge mount. I rev to see if he wants to go and he doesnt do anything when the light turns green so im like god-damnit, then he punches it but luckily i have a leadfoot and i had at least 4-6 cars on him by the top of second. Sorry for the length but i was bored.

 

be careful some of those GTP's can beat the **** out of alot of cars. i got beat by one that was lightly modded at the track the other day because he was running 11.40's in the 1000

 

yea my buddy has one. we go to a lot of gtp gatherings, i really like those cars, a true sleeper that a lot of people dont realize

 

yeah that gtp stu was talking about was a monster at the track. but we got our revenge on the highway haha.

 

yea i love gtps, my friend who works at a pontiac dealership has an 04 i think. He has a smaller pulley and a borla cat-back and maybe an intake. I think he runs mid to low 14's but ive never raced him surprisingly. He never leaves his house besides going to work damnit. Maybe when its warmer out.

 

Yeah my friend has a 98 GTP Daytona Edition... He has an intake, as do I. Some GREAT races... let me tell you.

 

heck ya those things can seriously haul man. the first time i went to the track i made my pass right after he did and the guy ran like 11 somethin is was super frickin loud with an slp cat bak dragging slicks and obviously some serious engine work. the thing made my car sound like a toyota camry down the track it was quite depressing but watch those wit just a little bit of tinkerin those sucker and crack 12 wit just minimal work

Well i think i will share my run ins with gtp's. I have ran two of them 1 2 door and 1 4 door. The 2 door was a guy i know. He has some bolt ons, about what i have. We went from a 65 kick, and i only beat him by 2 cars at the end of 4th. The 4 door was a little slower(weight) and we went from a 70 kick, and i beat it by about 3 cars. They are quick

 

just fyi, 4 doors weigh less than the 2 doors, for the gtp's atleast

 

i beat one from a light a lil over a month ago, he was pissed.

Sounds like he just spun the tires and let off right away. Or it was just a GT. You're not pulling 6 lengths on even a stock GTP from 0 to 70 or so.

My GTP would slap you silly from any speed.
