05SS/sc vs. 600 ninja

I got my first bike kill(w/ my friend in my car), from a roll anyways. We went from a 40 roll and i put at least one car length on him. From a dig was a different story, he got about 3 car lengths at the start (I have no traction) but I caught up to about one car length before shutting down. The same thing happened from 20 but I was closer and still gainng on him when he shut down. All in all I didn't do too bad considering it was a bike. Has anyone else here raced a bike yet?

Hmm... mine is black and not red, maybe thats why... J/k. I'm not sure if it was a ninja, but I do know it was a 600.

There is no way this EVER happened. I can post videos of a 600cc bike barely beating cars with 600+ HP......you will never beat a bike with a cobalt ever, unless the drag cars somehow make it to the street.......guy must not know how to ride very well.......

Not so sure that you beat him. Either he didn't know how to drive it or was toyin with you. My buddy has a 600, think it might be a Honda, not sure. But we messed around from a couple speeds and he walks away from me. My 07 was completely stock at the time also. I was behind me from one of our take-offs and I was doin about 40 an dropped it into 2nd, he got on my ass and I watched his front end dip from havin to slow down. Fun, but no win for me, yet...moohahaha. Nice kill on the Ninja though, for one of the runs. lol. Still nice. My turn will come.

It's only a 600, you make it sound like he said he raced a Ducatti 999 or somethin. 600's are fast but not that fast.

It is possible that he was the worlds worst driver...and it is possible to beat a bike from a roll because I did it two hours ago.

dont most 600s trap around 120+, cuz if your going that fast you have and 11 second cobalt on slicks

i dont know about racing a bike, but about a month ago i had 3 guys on crotch rockets fly by me, i was going about 85 on a pretty long stretch of open country road, and i decided to see if i could keep up... well i not only keep up, but passed em at 135! either they got out of the gas or they cant go that fast? which is it, i assume its pretty unstable on a bike at 130mph? not a bike rider so i wouldnt know......

Of course riding a bike is gonna feel fast..It's a 500lb bicycle run with a 4cyl. engine. Ok, lil exageration, but you get the idea. I never said the 600's where slow, I just said it was possible to beat one or two..lol...If he said he smoke a 600 or he beat a triple 9 then I'd raise the bullshit flag. he said it was a good race an he one from a roll.

I don't believe this one either- the guy was playing with you. The bike was at least a 12 second ride. it would not even be close.

here's a lists of 1/4 mile times for Ninja's at Dragtimes- even the 500's were mid 12 second rides.

I find this kill hard to believe as well. Reason being is my buddy has a 504whp 2000 civic Si and at 15psi he pushes around 380 to 390whp and he raced a ninja 600 from a 40 mph roll and was able to beat him. But from a 40mph roll the bike was there with him through 3rd gear, but once he got to 4th he just pulled and pulled. So unless your pushing 350whp or more, I don't see this happening.

There fast. But not that fast. I drove a 1998 CBR 600 for one summer, had alot of fun. I doupt you could beat him in a roll stock for stock. I would guess their runnign around high 12s.

1)Ok lets say it was an older model capable of running in the high twelve's. Well guess what, So is my car on Dr's. 2) A forty roll is where my car is strongest, I get over 21Lbs of boost pretty quickly. 3) Everyone of you who said it didn't happen has never raced a bike, you only heard of some guy that your brother's best friend's cousin in Australia who raced one, or you are just postulating because you are such a genius you can calculate who would win. 4) I don't post on here so you high school freshman can say I was lying. I don't make $hit up.
