Went out with a friend to do some friendly runs, I had a passenger the celica was just driver.

Cobalt-GMPP Catback
GTS-Intake/Exhaust

Won 4 out of 4 races, via 2nd and 3rd gear rolls. Walked em everytime.

Finally glad I found a decently fast car that I like.

Anyone else race a GTS?

 

yah, those are fun. Try racing a Celica GS-T? from a roll , talk about embrassing someone

Even with a passenger it was cake.

 

He said he was racing a Cobalt SS around when the OC car show was goin on. Said he destroyed em, must not have been a SC.

You must have raced a Auto GTS.

 

2 gts's for me, stick no worries.

 

Celicas are more in 2.4 territory than SS/SC... shouldn't be much of a challenge for you guys.

 

me and my friend test drove a gts at a dealership around here. I mean we beat the living **** out of that car, it already had 1400 test drive miles on it! Needless to say the powerband on those cars is so ******* shitty, it about a half second of fun, then you have to shift gears. A cobalt ss/sc should have no problem blowing the doors off one of those POS's

 

Those cars make Hondas seem torquey.

 

My roommate had one. With an intake they sound pretty cool. Back when he got it, it was pretty quick import. Not to todays standards though...good kills though...
