And supras are getting over 800WHP on a 3.0L, 600HP on a factory built blown cobra motor isn't ****. SVT makes special vehicles, they are not "stock." They are as stock as a ZR1 is.
First of all your full of ****, they didn’t even make a S281 E in 1997 they didn’t come out until 2001.

Secondly you need to give credit where credit is due. You’re a fan boy that tries look over the facts that make another brand look good. SVT is a stock car you stupid **** just like the ZR1, Z06, SRT line, SS line, V line, ect. They are factory built performance cars, the only difference with ford is they don’t throw the SVT name on every car they make like Chevy and Dodge does.

Once again you show just how ignorat and stupid you are Mustangs are cheap and fast what are Camaros? Also good job saying everyone with a mullet owns one since that’s been the stereo type for Camaro drivers since the 80s.

A Ford vs Chevy debate... How cutting edge... I saw an SVT on a flatbed two weeks ago heading the opposite direction... completely destroyed covered in sod ect... sad. It probably died chasing down a Cobalt ... an LSJ at that, and according to the very, very active 1/4 thread, they make the maddest tyte power ... lol Im a corvette guy.

It was not a true extreme addition, but it was a paxton novi 2000 blown s281, I put down 440 to the wheels so sue me for calling it an "extreme" edition. And the dealer that sold it to me Brandon Ford. (You can call them and ask them.) Made it a dealer only package in 1997. (They made 5.) I was the 2nd owner of it. It was number 279, and I would throw some pics up, but I have nothing to prove to you because you are just another mullet-mobile driving mustang owner. But yeah I got it in 2003 when the S281E was out, and I thought it was cool, because it was a nice SN95 tribute to the new S281E. Believe me or not, I don't care.

The same dealership I got it from is also an autorized steeda dealer, they did some steeda mustangs that were a bit better than what steeda was putting out.

Also not postin in this thread any more, got better things to do than argue with a mustang guy in a cobalt forum

I never said it’s the best performance car. I said mod for mod and $ for $ dominates most if not all and that’s the truth. Even most LSX guys will admit that just for the fact its hard to keep up with a factory blown car, a pulley swap and supporting mods and you have a 500+rwhp car.

I could honeslty care less its just funny how the story always changes after someone gets called out on a BS comment. I don't know how you would make a tribute car as there was nothing you could really replicate on the E other than badges as there was no body kit for that body style. Also I doubt it made 440rwhp on a 97 with out some serious upgrades.

Good job calling me a "mullet-mobile driving mustang owner" again (apparently that is your only comeback) since as I said before Camaro drivers are known for that not mustang drivers dipshit.

Read ********, I got it from the dealer like that. And yeah it was stickered up, I didn't care because it was one of the first muscle cars I have gotten with low miles. They came with a 310HP dohc in the firstplace, its not hard to make another 160WHP with a novi 2000, and BBK X-Pipe/Headers and tune. I said I wasn't going to post again, but I kinda had to respond to the ignorance. My bad you don't represent the mustang crowd though, so I rescind the mullet-mobile driving remark. You are just a troll that trolls a cobalt forum because you have nothing better to do than belittle people with 4 cylinder cars. You car is fast big whoop. Your dick is still just as small at the end of the day.

what the **** are you talking about? Of course these cars are stock...Do you think a c6 isn't stock just because it isn't slow? Is the ss/tc not stock just because it's turbocharged?

They are special editions of cars. By performance divisions. Its just a built car with a warranty. You can get an ariel atom, drop an LNF motor in it from the factory, and call it stock. Even though in the end, its going faster than its original intended purpose.

Why do you think dodge has to throw an SRT badge on something not to make it crap. They need their special divisions to build the car, and make it faster. Last time I checked if I got a TT Lingenfelter, its not considered a stock car, its a modified corvette with a warranty.

you mustang guys really know how to do this....

Your turbo Cobalt was built by the Super Sport "SS" division of GM. It's not stock, it's original intended purpose was to be a 17 second econo-car that got good gas mileage and couldn't fit anyone over 5 foot 11 inches tall inside of.

This is true, and it was improved by GMPD. I am 6'3'' tall and fit in mind fine though. Rental car cobalts are pretty shitty. All LNF cars have a GMPD plate under their hood. I am officially done arguing now, I have better things to do that argue with non cobalt owners on a cobalt forum, who all seem to own fords of a sort.

so much fail in here. There is something called TRIM LEVEL. Each TRIM LEVEL has a different variant. Cobalt trims:

ls, lt = 2.2l
sport = 2.4l
lsj/lnf = 2.0l FI

Those are all STOCK TRIM LEVEL ENGINES available for that particular TRIM LEVEL. Those are the engines AVAILABLE FROM THE FACTORY AKA FACTORY STOCK.

stock = from the factory without modification

GM designed 3 different engines. It doesnt matter how much hp they have, theyre all STOCK FROM THE FACTORY WHEN U BUY THEM. The LSJ/LNF is not a modified cobalt. It IS ITS OWN STOCK TRIM and has its own classification just like the other cobalts.

How is this hard to understand?

So your car, a modified version of the holden monaro that had a base model with a supercharged 3.8L. So your car must not be stock either? The corvette is built by GM's performance division, so no corvette is stock. And **** no a linginfelter vette isn't stock because it's not built by gm that way. The v8 for a mustang, the 2.4 or lnf for the cobalt are FACTORY OPTIONS...that's like saying a car isn't stock because you picked the damn moon roof package when you bought it nonsense.

Correct....I had my LNF equipped with an aftermarket turbocharger at the GM assembly plant, I'm in real ******' tight over there
