ported blower is not stock blower. so if I upgrade my k04 compressor wheel and destroyed some Eaton's, then I could proclaim the lsj powerband as weaksauce... That's how this lsj inferiority complex works

There is a huge difference between porting a blower verus upgrading the compressor wheel in a turbo. Porting the blower is not where you're going to be making good numbers. It helps but that's not the reason this car I quoted is pretty quick.

Isn't he running higher compression pistons and better connecting rods among many other things? I can believe it. High compression in boosted cars can make some serious numbers if done right. I don't know the guy personally. Is he a bullshitter?

And technically we all could be bullshitters. We're producing our timeslips and pictures of our cars as evidence. For me I don't give a **** about dynoing my car, so I could be BSing about my 13.79 even though most people are running 14.0 with my mods. He's running .4 of second faster than lets say hatrickstu with way more mods than stu. I think it's very possible.

Plus wow gives a **** about trap speeds? Those numbers are always inflated at the track when you're not getting good traction. I believe he ran 2.1 60ft which is not good traction!

he had a time slip that was from a guy that had turbo cavy that ran a 12.xxx 1/4 mile. I think that was the one that he had floating around for a while. I have had friends ride in it that have told me that it doesn't feel fast at all.

Yes and no. He was a really nice guy. I dont hate him by any means, I just wouldn't believe everything he says.

They are higher compression pistons, same rods just cryo treated. he was only running a 2.7 pulley at the time, and stock valvetrain.
