06 SS S/C Vs. 05 BMW M3

Alright, so on the highway driving up to edmonton with my girlfriend, we were following a truck he was doing 140km/h, then a M3, comes flying past so i follow him for a rabbit. Anyways he changed into the right lane while im in the left and i speed up a bit just to take a look. Anyways he is looking over at my car smiling, So i drop it into 4th and fly ahead and slow down and he knows i want to go, so we are lined up going about 150 KM/h in 4th and we both go, anyways he pulled hard and beat me by about 3-4 cars at about 220, we did this a few times and same outcome, anyways he was a nice guy smiling and we were laughing enjoying our selves

I have to disagree. Nothing beats racing from a dig. Showcases the driver's TRUE abilites.

I agree but I race from a dig on the highway. I know it sounds crazy but around here theres hardly any cars on the road during the day and at night past midnight, theres noone.

Racing on the highway's no better than street racing. If anything, there's more that could go wrong on the highway. I wouldn't do it unless there is ABSOLUTELY NO TRAFFIC.

i had one try raceing me in my sunfire last night. a red one with the top down so i hit the gas because he was right on my ass and i hate people tail gateing me most get the brake test. and he just went flying around me. guy was a a$$hole. he was doing that to all the other cars so i got behind him its a 20 year old looking kid and the plate on the car was a veterans plate with a state police badge in the corner. i was thinking in my head bring your mom and dads car home befor you crash it driveing like a idiot.

nice run with the M3! are you stock? I bet with the GM stage 2 you could have took him!

on a side note: racing from a dig is my personal fav., but roll racing is it's on unique sport.

Did u read my entire post, especially the part about "NOONE on the highway".

Highway with straight wide open lanes where you can see exactly whats infront of you, no pesdestrians, no ppl completely stopped, tons of room to go around or hit the brakes, ya that sound like a bad place. In town would be much better.

If you're talking about more could go wrong as in higher speeds, yes if you crash on the highway you might die compared to just being injured on the streets.

^ and the chances of crashing on a straight flatm road with nothing to hit really is pretty low

Aaaannnnnyyyyywwwwaaaayyyyy...

nice run. Those M3's are soooo nice. I was telling a friend with an M3 about how nice my car cruised at 100mph+. Later that week he took me for a ride in his M3 coupe and at 130 mph it was just as smooth as.....something hella smooth.

That car is definately designed for high speeds. If it was AWD it would definately be my next car...
