So 08/09 GT rolled up on me, and we went. I pulled him to about 80 (when I bounced off the rev limiter like an idiot). Ended up about half a car in front of him. He looked pretty bewildered. All in all I was pretty proud of my little 4cyl.

Car is 2.8 pulley, 60#, airbox mod and FMHE. Canned ZZP tune.

 

Nice man! That 2.8 pulley provides a marginal increase in instant tq from what I've seen.

There's this '06-09 model GT/CS who had his girl in the car with him. He kept revving and smiling over at me...so I threw it in gear happily. He honked it off and from 40 I instantly put 3-4 cars on him till I shut down at 70ish. I think he was embarrassed as he never caught back up, he just turned off to a side street

Our little 4 cylinders get the job done, especially when big ol' 8 cylinders think they own sh**
