08 SS/TC vs 08 Evo
I raced him last night. It was a evo x. He said it was upgraded turbo. There was no way. I know that this sounds stupid but it doesnt sound like it was stock. I have heard a stock evo x spool before and this sound like a monster turbo.
But anyways i raced him 2times from a 30roll i pulled about 3cars on him both times.

Assuming he does have a bigger turbo, the tune might be crap. He also may not know how to drive it. Obviously the only way to tell would be to take it to the track. Second, assuming he has a stock turbo with a nice intake (makes the turbo sound larger than it might actually be), I can definitely see why u beat him.

Considering you have owned one, yes you can dogg on them
I hate evo's now, my buddy just bought one w/ fp red & full bolt on's and says that he's gonna beat me and all this ****.
It's obvious hes gonna beat me lol but the way he says it just...ugh **** him

I like evo's, i even considered buying a VIII when they came out, til my friend bought one and it spent more time in my garage than my own car did.... Id seen that before, with my GS-T.
That being said, i still like them. I had the chance to buy a perfect condition Talon TSI for $2k not long ago, built motor, running, just no turbo(he took whatever was on it off to use on his new car)... i thought long and hard about it but just didnt want another problem.

And just because your old and busted DSM had whatever problems it had doesnt mean that Mitsubishi's suck. If you did indeed own one, you know the potential.
Of course you are entitled to your opinion. Most people that dont know what they are talking about have lots of them.

I know the potential... hence why i said i had a hard time walking away from a great deal. Also doesnt change the fact that 90% of mitsu cars arent very reliable, ive watched friends with galants to eclipses have problems. DSMs did earn their reputation for a reason....
I also have beef with LT1s, 2v mustangs, a lot of nissans, and pretty much all chevy and dodge interiors. Oh and my 10 bolt... Yeah i do have a lot of opinions.
Oh but thats all just opinion, no fact there.
Please the second you want to come off riding your EVOs **** and actually have a level headed un-biased discussion, let me know.
Edit: and just because i think something is a nightmare to maintain or work on, doesnt mean i dont like them.
Yup, im riding the Evo ****.
Please dude, flaunt your e-douchery somewhere else because i dont really care. Your opinions on Mitsubishi's atleast will be taken with a grain of salt. Your attacking me, means nothing.
I believe you first started with, " Most people that dont know what they are talking about have lots of them. "
Lest we forget how this began....
Actually, you really do care. No sense in denying it.
Oh and at least i know that Mivec and Vtec are pretty much the same damn thing. Meanwhile you think its not even close to the same thing as vtec. VVT is VVT, no matter how you brand it.
