12psi B16 Civic vs SS/SC

Well, the local group had a quick little get together tonight. We cruised around a bit, then pulled into a parking lot. We all get out of our cars...
"Well, anyone running tonight?"
I'm pretty new to the local board, so I scan. Lets see, there's a 450whp Civic Hatch... no. Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap, Civic with Front mount.
I ask, "How much hp you running?"
"Made 251 on 9psi with 89 octane. Running 12psi with 93 octane now."
"Lets Go."
So we pick a spot, discuss the plan, and head out.
We make it to the road... I wait for him to get next to me. First Race from 35... I honk 3 times... then mash the gas. I pull about 1 car instantly, then another by the top of 2nd... 1 more though third, but I think he had let off. We get to the next stop sign... he pulls back beside me and the passenger opens the door. No way to roll down the window... the car is stripped of all useless stuff. Anyways, he tells me we have to go from a different speed, because at 35 he is at 3000 rpm and has no power. Not my problem, I think to myself.
"Okay, what speed you wanna go at?"
"25."
"I'll try."
So we loop back around and line them up again. 25 mph, damn... too low in 2nd... so last minute I drop it into 1st and start honking. 3rd honk and I 3/4 the throttle... I take off pretty good putting him at my bumper, but bang the limiter (F@ck)... I shift to 2nd and we are about even. I pull descent in 2nd, putting him at my rear tire... 3rd gear and he's pulling back even... at the top of third we are side by side. I shift to forth and he lets off.
Nice! Best run I have ever had! INTENSE!
My G/F got it on Video, but my little Kodak Camera SUCKS at night... you can't see much but headlights... try and watch for the 3 red gauges he has on his pillar... Imagine my story in your head!

I owned his silver civic, and he pulls up beside me and say's... "I'm only running 5 lbs... wait till I get the red Civic outta storage..." Well, I waited.

I raced a Turbo B16, stripped late 90's Civic... from 35 I killed him by 3. 35 is out of his powerband. We race from 25, at the top of 3rd we are side by side.

Better camera is on the way! They were fun races! that Stage 2 SRT had to work today, otherwise I would have ran him. We are supposed to get Freezing rain tonight
